The month of April has been designated Sexual Violence Prevention Month around the country, as hundreds of organizations and schools participate in promoting awareness. Voices Against Violence sponsors this month at UT and hosts several events dedicated to the cause. Student volunteers describe their experience with VAV and the reasons why they’re passionate about the cause.
Several organizations around campus are hosting a variety of events for Sexual Violence Prevention Month. Denim Day and Get Sexy, Get Consent are both organized by Voices Against Violence, a prominent sexual assault awareness and prevention organization on UT's campus.
